  • March Holidays 2009 Guitar Ensemble Practice Schedule

    Hi guys

    Along with this note, I'm also going to inform everyone that if the stated show brand (for SYF uniform) is no longer in stock, buy any other brand but with the same design but without high shine.

    All practices listed below are compulsory if you are involved.
    This is to help prepare for the upcoming SYF competition and other performances.


    18th March (Wed) : 9am to 12pm
    Students Involved: Wei Jie, Ming Da, Lucas, Andrew, Vincent, Rui Yi, Anazrul, Vinn, Timothy Ng, Yao Jie, Ian, Sanjay, Jonathan, Ryan Huang.

    19th March (Thurs) : 9am to 12pm
    Students Involved: SYF Ensemble (Sec 2 - Sec 4)

    20th March (Fri) : 9am to 12pm
    Students Involved: SYF Ensemble (Sec 2 - Sec 4) + Sec 1

  • SYF Attire

    Hello everybody =]

    As you all already know, our SYF date is on the 27th of April 2008, at 0854 hours.
    Which leaves us about 1 month, 2 weeks, 3 days, and ... a few hours, minutes and seconds left to perfect everything we've learnt.
    And so, we have to be really, really ready in terms of our musical capability, synchronisation, dynamics, stylistics, etc... like, really soon.
    But not only do we have to sound really, really good, we have to look really, really, REALLY good on that d
    ay too.
    ...
    Basically here's the attire you have to get for SYF:


    Standard working class long sleeve black shirt with pocket and collar buttons
    (strictly no design like stripes/other texture)

    Standard black working pants
    (strictly no stripes/other textures. DO NOT taper the pants. Pants must be long enough to cover top of shoes)

    Standard working class black shoes
    (strictly no additional design like polyester high-shine, buttons/shiny logos)

    Standard working class black belt
    (strictly normal standard size buckle)

    Standard working class black socks
    (strictly no other colour/stripes, no ankle/boat socks)


    Tie
    (buy from school...)
