Updates
Hello again =]
Here are some updates you should take note of.
1) You are all reminded to bring a notebook/notepad/foolscap pad and your stationery to practice to take down notes. Especially pointers Sir emphasizes on. (eg.Tuesday's practice, bar 48 of Beatles Medley, full ensemble rest for an 8th note/quaver.)
2) Please note that skipping of practices will not be tolerated.
If you have something really, REALLY, REAAAAAAALLY urgent, please inform a senior and MAKE SURE HE KNOWS.
Have some proof if you're really that kiasu.
If you don't inform a senior, we will consider your attendance to be zero, which means you've skipped practice, which means lesser attendance percentage, means truancy, means... you know the rest yourself.
3) Greet your teachers/instructor when you see them.
I think most of you have the concept already.
4) Practice hard. SYF is less than 3 months away, which is less than 90 days, which means we have to seriously hasten and speed things up... before it's too late.
Every day/hour/minute/second/milisecond is extremely important and should not be wasted. In fact, you shouldn't even be reading this right now- Just go get your tracks and learn and perfect your parts.
We need a SILVER for SYF to get on a plane to Japan.
So yes, the better we do, the further we go. SO PLEASE DO YOUR BEST.

Corbel Font
Hey everyone.
I've noticed that for some of the older computers, you may not be able to see the blog as it should be as you're lacking the necessary font.
The main font used in the blog is Corbel and you can get it here.
All you need to do is to copy and paste the font into this folder (for Windows):
C:/Windows/Fonts
and it should be installed by then.
You should be able to see the required font by then if done right.
I'm not too sure of how to install it into Mac/PC,
but if you don't have the Corbel font, the entire page would appear
in Arial font, which is okay, but it just won't look as nice :).

SYF is in less than 4 months away!

Guang Hai Fang Shi PTB File
To Lucas/Vinn:
I've done the Canon in C modified part for your Guang Hai Fang Shi song.
You only play this part at the 2nd Chorus and end together.
Everything else is in the .ptb file which you can find here.
If you don't have the Power Tabs Editor Software, you can get it here.
For the rest of you, it's really up to you if you want to download the Power Tabs Software or not, but it's not advisable to use it to help you with the songs you learn during practice.

CCA Day and Trainings
Hey everyone and a Happy New Year to all of you.
Updates:
Practices will be held on the 5th, 6th and 7th of January (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) to prepare for the upcoming CCA Day.
We wanna be really prepared for CCA Day so we can really showcase our best in front of them.
CCA Day is on Thursday from 12pm to 6pm. Timings subject to change.
Please do come for the practices and keep practicing at home.
